Social media is the best tool to target the audience. But before targeting the audience it is better to approach the audience and research to know their pulse like their favorite products or services, favorite sites to shop, favorite social sites to browse, etc., it gives the perfect view to target the right audience, in the right time, in the right platform. Day by day the competition is increasing for social media marketing as people are addicted and companies are showing interest. Social media gives easy access to have a conversation directly with the users, we can call it is as friendly online shopping.

Through social media, there is not only a positive sign but also there will be a negative sign which affects the companies and we can call it a social media crisis. Companies need to work on this crisis and manage the business. Spreading negative signs, posting negativity on social media about the company are the examples of social media crisis which affects the brand of the companies.

In social media, there is a place for influencers, content marketers, celebrities, etc... to generate leads or increase the sales or inbound traffic to the website/brand.

Users may give a low rating or negative feedback on the product, the company must respond positively to the user and should not remove the feedbacks as it is a golden opportunity to get to know the customers better. Receiving negative feedback from a dissatisfied customer is one such instance. Also, try to check the feedback of the competitor’s customers and make it a good approach to the customer to generate the lead, with this the company gets to know what the competitor is doing wrong and how this company can offer a better way to generate the lead or to approaching the customers.

Every activity performed in social media will get the Return On Investment (ROI). Social media investment might create value. Customers and Brand’s communities are the main audience for social media.

Social Media is low-cost and affordable to spend money for increasing brand awareness, but growing followers is not that easy, also, it’s not enough to simply present in social media, and here comes the optimization for social media.
